Helena and Werner Fellman

The Fellmans were friends of Dr. Forsstrom. They owned a furniture store in Astoria; Fellman Furniture and Astoria Furniture Co. In 1911, the Forsstroms lived in Portland and the Fellman family rented the Forsstrom residence. Paul Fellman was born in the house in July of 1911.

In 1912, the Fellmans bought property at 670 Jerome (now 1538 Jerome) and built a home there. They lived there until 1929.

Many of the early pictures of the Forsstroms come from a Fellman family photo album. Special thanks to Bill Fellman, son of Paul Fellman for his generosity. Many items from the Fellman estate have been gifted to the Forsstrom House.
