Pauline Dilworth Lockhart Palumbo
“Pauli” Palumbo purchased the home c. 1981 from Ezra and Ona Macy or from their estate. She did many improvements to the house, including a beautiful mahogany and oak front door in the Craftsman style with antique hardware and the library bookcases in mahogany. Local carpenter John Davies built both of these features. Pauli converted a very large closet on the second floor into a shared bathroom for two bedrooms. We believe she added the balcony on top of the kitchen pantry on the east end of the house.
Pauli was active in the local arts and radio scene. She was well known to the locals. We enjoy meeting Astoria FOP or “friends of Pauli”.
